Holiday life

sweet smelling dinner cooking on the stove,

we dress nice, fine in our clean colorful clothes.

The earth is cold and chilled but peaceful,

shiny white snow flakes on some people.

Warmth from the fire fills the house,

family and friends are laughing all about.

our bellies are full from tons of chicken and turkey,

now all of us kids are cheerful and perky.

We sing and we dance and we laugh all night long,

we say our goodbyes and all want to sing just one lats song.

kisses and hugs are spread all around,

now there seems to be much less sound.

I sit and think about my crazy, fun night.

now it is time to say goodnight.

My name is Yale

I am growing up with 9, it may seem hard but the pleasure is all mine.

The house may get loud,

and my siblings may pout.

Sometimes we have to clean all day,

and we dont even get paid.

But I dont care,

that's okay,

I love my family anyway.
